The Front Row Africa

Licensing

Using our photography or reporting somewhere else? Here’s how.

Last updated August 2026

Every photograph on this site is credited to its photographer at the point it appears — usually in a caption beneath the image. Rights to that photography sit with the credited photographer or their agency, not with The Front Row Africa, unless the credit says otherwise.

Requesting to reproduce our work

For permission to reproduce an article, excerpt, or photograph — for a publication, a book, a presentation, or anything else outside normal reading and sharing — email [email protected] with a link to what you’d like to use and where it’ll appear. Include the photographer’s name from the caption if you’re asking about an image; we’ll put you in touch directly where the rights sit with them rather than with us.

Quoting and linking

Short quotations with a link back to the original article are always fine, and we’d rather you link to a piece than reproduce it wholesale — it keeps the reporting connected to its context and any corrections we make after publication.

Trademarks

“The Front Row Africa” and our logo are ours. Using either to imply an endorsement or partnership that doesn’t exist isn’t something we allow — reach out first if you’re unsure whether a specific use is fine.
